The best way to provide assistance is by remote desktop. Remote destop allows a technician to connect to your computer via the Internet and see your desktop as you see it.
It is a fast and efficient way to quickly solve computer problems without having to physically visit the customer.
A technician using remote desktop can move the cursor and type as if using your computer. Most problems can be fixed using this method.
You may disconnect the connection at any time. Follow these steps to setup the connection:
Download the software - This application does not permanantly install anything to your computer. As soon as the connection ends, the software will remove itself.
If you see this screen, click 'Open'.
With this option, click 'Run'.
Then click 'Run' again.
Once the program has been downloaded, it will open automatically. Select which remote connection you want to use (If you don't know, Contact Me).
This will successfully setup the remote desktop connection. If the icon in the bottom right corner (next to the system time) is green then the connection has been made. If you would like to disconnect at any time, right click the icon and choose 'Close'. If there are proglems, Contact Me.
